Our Story
United was established by Billy Henderson in 1985 and was known as Henderson Heating & Air. We started as a small company handling residential new construction and service work. In 1992, Henderson Heating and Air acquired another small air conditioning company and merged the assets and workforce to become “United.” We started doing light commercial HVAC in the mid-’90s, and we continued to grow into a larger air conditioning and heating company so that by 2000 we were one of the top 3 residential air conditioning companies in Montgomery, Alabama.
In 2000, we began to pursue replacement in existing homes and build up our service department. Beginning in 2007, we added a plumbing department that includes service, repair, and new construction. In 2014, we started our electrical department doing new construction and now can handle small commercial and residential service.
